Gateway registration to gatekeeper

Tue, 01 Aug 2006 03:38:20 +0000
For a gateway to register with a gatekeeper, there should be at least one voip dial-peer defined in the gateway.
If it is a CME router, then when you define ephones, that will create dial-peer and hence that will work fine.

GNS3/dynamips/dynagen: configuration maker

Mon, 26 May 2008 15:08:31 +0000

Mon, 28 Apr 2008 20:49:36 +0000
but i probably failed.
I found it more difficult than the last time. There had been a lot of questions and i wasn`t able to finish all topics. I missed about 3 to 4 and others i`m not sure. So i will probably not pass. Did not get the mail yet, but i expect it like ...]

Learning Method

Thu, 19 Jun 2008 13:18:02 +0000
Last night I was reading through my “Ethernet Basics” and “Spanning Tree” notes and thought to myself - “Can I realistically take in all of my notes using this approach in the time I have left? ….and then also answer probing questions?” à an easy approach would be to hammer-away at Boson ExSim and hope ...]

Voice2: SIP Voice Gateway

Thu, 26 Jun 2008 18:48:59 +0000

(Whomp!) Here it is ...

*WHOMP!* here it is!!! My notebook is here!!!

Intel Core2 Duo 1.5GHz, 2GB RAM, 120GB HDD, 14.1" widescreen (1280x800), nVidia integrated graphics with 128MB memory, oh ... and the integrated
webcam.

So what??? I can now bring my CCIE lab virtually anywhere. With this notebook with me, my CCIE lab is now "anytime anywhere".

The first step before really making the lab possible: to put the proper Linux that can have a well-defined kernel fine tune to ensure the dynamips
works at its most.

CME-CUE on two different routers

Fri, 14 Jul 2006 01:01:35 +0000
If you need to integrate CME with a CUE on a different chassis, you would need the following.
1. Create a h323 dial-peer in CME gateway and point it to the gateway that hosts CUE.
2. Create a SIP dial-peer in the gateway that hosts CUE to point to CUE ip address.
You cannot create a SIP dial-peer ...]

Creative imaginations

Thu, 03 Jul 2008 10:25:39 +0000
I have always been a fan of great creativity. I have been sent this advertisement today and find it to be one of the few that have really caught my eye. Today’s market focuses to much on getting the brand name across and not dwelling to much on the fact that a good, creative ad ...]
